Weed isn't even really a drug. It grows in the ground and it is made to smoke. Obviously since it's perscribed to people. So whoever says it's bad for your body is dumb.

THC is a proven anti-carcinogen. i doubt it would be prescribed to treat chemo patients if the doctors thought it would CAUSE cancer.. legalization would reduce the economic strain caused by overcrowding in jails with non-violent drug users. everyone who regularly smokes would think it's okay to do so in public like tobacco but really it would be treated like alcohol law-wise and a lot of people would get tickets
not quite.. theres no test other than a blood test that can determine for sure whether or not somebody has smoked. and even with a blood test u cant actually tell if they are high. but u still wouldnt be able to smoke outside or in public, understandably.
It is a drug. Though I do not approve of it, it has not caused any serious problems for anyone I know. In high school I made a lot of bad decisions and I smoked it. I did not make those bad decisions because I smoked it, I made them because I was a rebellious teenager. People blame it for too much. I do not smoke it now because I want to have a clear mind in life, I want to remember my life. I do not hate stoners, nor do I allow that drug near me. Still, seeing them high is worth the snack food you lose.

Um, I like pot as much as the next guy, but I'd like to point out that just because something is natural doesn't make it not bad for you. Cyanide is perfectly natural. And the difference between medicine and poison tends to be the dosage - although not true in weed, but true for most drugs. Try doubling the dosage on chemo sometime.
What people fail to realize is why we classify it as a drug... "just because it's bad" isn't a reason and the government has no proof it's detrimental to our health - alcohol is so much worse for us yet it's merely a regulated "drug". How's that for fair?

Please explain how it will make you unhealthy. All the peer-reviewed studies I've read have found no negative affects of long-term use, and one has actually found that it protects against memory loss and Alzheimer's disease.
Yeah, I've had plenty of opportunities to try it, but after watching my sister go from smoking cigs to pot to doing hardcore drugs in about two years, I decided to stay away from all of it.

Oh man, you're totally right. I've been smoking since I was 16 and my life is a mess. I got a perfect score on my SATs, go to a top 20 university, and I'm taking the LSATs next fall. POT HAS RUINED MY LIFE. \n\nFalse. Smoking a joint is roughly the equivalent of having a beer at the end of a stressful day. Is it fantastically healthy? No. Will it destroy your life like meth or heroin? Also no. \n\nGet a clue and stop being a self-righteous dick.
