  • Amazes me how some people associate alcohol and having fun. I drink but I prefer weddings, such as my sisters in June, to be dry not just a crazy party. Weddings are supposed to be about unions and memories, not booze

    • I first read that as "unicorns and memories", but your actual post was much less interesting.

  • The wedding that I'm a bridesmaid in is a dry wedding. Which is why I'm bedazzling my flask with the wedding colors and if anyone stops me I'll just say that's not grey goose. It's French water

  • why would you ever have a dry wedding ceremony? Weddings are supposed to be fun... I feel sorry you had to attend such a wack event.

  • ugh I was forced to attend a dry wedding recently, the most boring time of my life. Good thing I kept the kush in the glove box. Without that I may have died. Oh and it was sooo wrong of the bar to serve soda in glasses with tiny bar straws that for a quick second I thought they were actually serving alcohol. Don't ever put your family and friends through a dry wedding, its pretty much torture

  • maybe you should try getting married after the age of 21

  • Actually in the state of Pennsylvania being intoxicated in any way makes the vows null and void. Should 2 recovering alcoholics have to pay for everyone else to get drunk at their wedding when they can't. Weddings suck but I quite frankly dont want people there who are only worried about the booze

  • Baptist and church of Christ weddings don't have booze at the reception. Or dancing. Glad Im Catholic

  • I like to drink and have a good time, I'm from Wisconsin! But I think a dry wedding is not a bad idea especially during these times, some people simply can't afford booze or even don't believe in drinking, it will prove who cares enough to attend your wedding sober

  • I think it's hilarious how people think that drinking makes them an adult.

  • I would love to have a dry wedding, it would keep the memories beautiful instead of filled with drunks
