I'm not sure "judged me" is the right term here. "Envies my boyfriend" is probably much closer to the truth.

I used to work in a dentist's office, and he did our dental work for free. He was doing an exam and decided, as a "joke," to trigger my gag reflex. I wondered why he and the assistant were snickering and then looking perplexed, then he burst out laughing and said, "No gag reflex! I knew there was a reason I hired you." Best part is: I DO have a gag reflex, he was just missing it.

My ENT doctor had to put a press on the back of my throat to look at my tonsils and adenoids and I didn't flinch. He said," Very good job" lol! It's not that I don't have a gag reflex I can just control it very well.
