In regards to the worm it doesn't do anything to the tequila it's not some sort of special mexican tequila brewing trick its a marketing ploy invented in the 50's to trick white people into eating a worm because it's "authentic"
Blinded: nope... It's not... Apple seeds have to be prepared a certain way in order for the cyano group to be released. It's a cyano-based sugar, so unless you really want to die and prepare them right, it's all okay. Anyways, apple seeds are only mildly toxic when not prepared to extract the toxin... I remember from biochem that you have to eat the equivalent of like a dozen apples worth of seeds for toxicity levels to be sufficient for death.
Mattmadness, star fruit are a negative. I ate ten in one day once when I was twelve (my cousin an I stripped the tree xD), and they were all stages of ripeness from solid green to greeny yellow and orange to almost red. I had the shits like a mother, but no death.
jem some weed\n5 seed pods will kill you \ndo not eat or make tea with this plant!\n people will need to go to the doc's if they eat it! not a good buzz! bad trip!\nthis is a P S A from TFLN ! !
Tequila does not have a worm or scorpion(which is commonly used as a replacement). Mescal is another spirit made from the agave plant by a different distinction. And it tastes like piss only for gringos
Actually, I think this might be a reference to either juniper berries or castor beans... I remember that both had similar numbers (around 5 for toxicity... But also weight dependent, I think).
Wait. Why would someone be more worried about juniper berry or castor bean toxicity, as opposed to KFC chicken? How many people would even want castor beans if they were drunk? Not me, man.
It's apple seeds. They contain cyanide. If you Partially crush a few (most notably FIVE) whole ones there's enough cyanide to kill the average human being.
uhhhm, clearly not? there are 5 seeds in every apple and lots of people eat all of the apple, like the other person that responded to you. everyone would die.
