    • actually, it is also because alcohol often can lessen the effectiveness of both antidepressants and antianxiety medications, because they affect the same part of the brain that alcohol does.

  • Drinking while taking any type of medication is a terrible idea. Surprised more people aren't aware that alcohol + other drugs can = liver failure, kidney failure, and possibly death depending on dosage, body type, genetics, and other factors.
