for all of those people who are saying you can't know...you totally can. if you've poked someone and you try to poke them again, it says your poke is pending and they'll see it the next time they sign in. she probably poked him again and it said 'are you sure you want to poke....?' which means that the poke isn't there (on their page) anymore because they deleted it. so...you can tell.
