they probably figure out the number from someone else. you know, call a friend for someone's number

Every now and then, I see a TFLN that is along the lines of "I don't have your phone number". How do they send the text?
or put this up on their area code. like from their sent box....personally i really want to see the text that this person sent to the wrong number.
