Montana is beautiful. Missoula sucks and not true that everyone's cool there. Everyone in Montana is weird. Except a few...and they moved to the state not raised.

Was born in Miles City, spent elementary school in Red Lodge, finished high school in Conrad, went to college in Helena and Missoula. I can say I'm liberal but dislike western Montana (fake). I was 26 when I moved from Montana a few years back - I miss it somtimes, but it's not the same place that I remember. I guess it was "discovered".

There are few places in MT that are actually like that, Butte being one. The bigger (lol) cities/towns are much more liberal and open minded than many other places. Even some of the tiny little towns are fantastic (big ups to Red Lodge, Augusta, and Dutton).
The only people who don't like Montana are materialistic, consumerist, tool bags who watch shows like Charm School and Rock of Love.

Missoula sucks major ass. I moved here from Texas and god do I regret it! Missoula is such a dumpy pile of shit of a town. Theres nothing here but a bunch of dirty ass hippies and snooty ass people who really think there cool cuz the from this shithole, but I hate to break the news to everyone your town fucking sucks. I have been here for about 6 months and ive maybe met a handful of normal people her, People here are strange strange strange and if your from here you are to.

i grew up near butte... scary place, more so on St. Patrick's day! but i must say out of all the towns, missoula is by far the best... we know how to party here!
being a transplant to Montana via Chicago.... Montana scenery/outdoors/wildlife/fun shit to do is amazing..... the people (born and raised) are fucking batshit crazy and stuck in 1890. Especially in Butte..... the biggest shithole on earth.
Okay Montana is seriously an awesome state. people who aren't raised here Might not like as much but all in all Montana is a fun state. Every town has somehing different to offer and there are cool peoplein every town. Its usually the people who move here don't like it, but most the peole I've met do. As for the montanans, yes we're crazy and weird but we know how to have a good time.
