@10:34
They weren't correcting grammar, they were correcting punctuation. And you're right, it's not funny or clever, but it is neccesary.
I work in a professional setting and see things like this all time:
(We can wear Jean's on Friday; Lot's of great things! etcetera.)
It's just sad. You know why it happens? Because no one corrected them.
another case of antiptosis.......When will kids learn that proper sentence forming, via text, is essential to success in the adult world? (highly sarcastic)
I didn't realize that people get graded on the grammer aspect of their text messages.
next time i'm drunk and send a random text i'll keep that in mind.
i am all in favor of correct grammar and punctuation in professional settings, but this is just an entertainment site.
chill out, and just laugh at the texts!
let me clarify for 11:48:
by professional setting, she means McD's (which she hopes will turn into a wonderful career for her and her 10 welfare babies).
and by casual friday...well, it shouldn't be too hard to figure that one out. here's to #11!
ummmmm last time I checked use of the wrong form of a word is Grammar.
thanks for playing Miss Professional Setting. Get back to work and stop trying to sound intelligent on TFLN......
Want to start nitpicking grammar? Start with the title of the website:
TXTS FRM LST NGHT
If you haven't yet realized that this is the least appropriate setting to discuss proper English, please feel free to add the word DRNK.
