I'm tired, slightly stoned and this is my first thought but a masters degree is considered higher education...not "grad school." Thought grad school was for doctorates. Also depends on the school if your family member is at a satellite school of a USA based school then they can get any degree offered by that school.
You don't have grad school in the UK? You should really tell my uncle that. Here he thought his son was over there getting his Master's degree for the last year. I wonder what he's really doing with that student visa.
After high school here in America, one can choose to attend either Technical School for 2 years to earn an Associate's Degree or College for 4 years to earn a Bachelor's Degree.
After that, one can choose to attend Graduate School for 2 more years to get a Master's Degree, then finally Post-Graduate School for 2 more years to get a Doctoral Degree/PhD.
