  • It won't be available for recreational use for some time until they get all the laws and regulations worked out

  • as a former 815 living in 847, Chicago would definitely benefit from this.

  • If weed is mass produced on a industrial farm instead of grown in a basement the price will go down, thats just economics. However, it will be taxed heavily(this is a good thing!)

    • The law of supply and demand says you are right, but the law corporate greed says the price will remain the same or rise.

      • Corporate greed would apply if it were to be run by corporations, but at least in WA it will all be grown and regulated by the state.

  • The Feds will probably pull what they did in MT. DEA raids on our pot stores.....

    • They did that in california too when I lived there. Living in CO now the first thing my work did was send a mass email out letting everyone know, company policy still stands drug testing will still happen after an accident or reasonable suspicion

  • 502 in WA technically legalized marijuana...ppl can carry up to one ounce. However, they also set an unreasonably low limit for the legal intoxication level. Five nanograms/ml is so low that a regular user (i.e. a medical patient) can go two weeks with no weed and still test above that level. Yay court fees
