• youre all wrong. it was cheri brand who became the original poster child in 1959. jodie foster did, however, appear in a coppertone television ad some years later (1964 i think).

• It is Jodie Foster. Drew wasn't even a twinkle when the original billboard ads were done. That was the beginning of her Jodie Foster's career. I haven't googled it, but if you really must to see the proof, go ahead. (40something, just one of those trivia things I grew up with.)
