  So what exactly does one do when my driver gets a DUI and is now arrested and I'm still hiding in the trunk?

• This happened to a friend of mine. He stayed put in the trunk. Felt the car pulled up on a toe truck. When it was moving, he popped the trunk and watched where it was going. A few blocks away, at a red light, he got out, closed the trunk and ran. Driver did not notice.

• Haha oh shit. Hopefully someone can come by and get the car from impound soon or if nice cops they let you call to get the car. Had a friend who the cops did that for her.

• If you're in a new enough car (2000 or later?) there should be an emergency release in the trunk. Pull on it, exit. Otherwise hopefully maybe you can figure out how to work the latch from the inside.
