Dear 1-916, thank you for perpetuating the stereotype that pot smokers are all brain-addled morons. You're one of the biggest obstacles there is to legalizing recreational pot use.
I disagree, sir lawn.\n\nThere is nothing wrong with bongs, and by extension, nothing wrong with using them in public places. I think if every bong user showed up at their local police station and toked on up, we would see a drastic shift in public perceptions of bong and cannabis users in general. \n\nBesides, he's already been done and lives in the only country worth going to that bars drug offenders from visiting, what has he got to lose?\n\nBlaze on man!
Regardless of whether it should be legal or not, doing something in public that bears a high likelihood of getting your ass arrested, especially when you've already been busted more than once, would seem to me to indicate a deficiency in the decision-making skills department. You ain't getting arrested for smoking weed. Especially in Sacramento. Usually they just take your stash, sometimes they break your glass, and if they really feel like being dicks they'll write you a ticket. You'd have to have a substantial amount for there even to be a conversation about arresting you- or have a scale and little baggies so they could nail you for intent to distribute. The more you know.
I love the city of trees comment ... for anyone who hasnt been to sacramento, when you head into it from the south on interstate 5 theres a water tower that even says "city of trees" ... a good friend of mine lives a few blocks from it.
