Reading a pregnancy test isnt difficult. Its a simple thing, however a lot of women either test to early, are hoping to see 2 lines and kinda imagine it . OR they dont read directions and let it sit entirely to long and get an evaporation line.
You guys are fucking dumb. There are false positive/negative results due to taking the pregnancy test incorrectly, like not peeing on it long enough. It's not that the girl is "too stupid" to read the test, it's that the test is telling her an incorrect result. It sounds to me like the guy who texted that is the one who is stupid.
its not that they are hard to read. i took one and only one line showed up but it didnt look like the picture so i took another and 2 lines showed up.. and then 5 mins later on the first test both lines were showing. basically they have a mind of their own!
Sometimes the test is defective and hard to read or doesn't give a clear answer. Sometimes people don't wait the right amount of time to get the results. But you know that, of course, since you obviously took them.

How do you interpret a "-" when there's a faint vertical line in the background that could indicate a "+"? Even the "digital" readout can show a "pregnant" with a faint "not" in front of it.

they aren't THAT easy to read all the time. if you take the test early, the answer is very faint and hard to see. my sister took one and it appeared to be a DIVISION sign, instead of a '+' or '-' and it ended up being positive. also, they sometimes are wrong because of the timing.
11:29, book smarts doesn't mean street smarts. i know plenty of ivy girls who couldn't find their way out of a paper bag, and who would probably misread a preg test as well.
If you buy cheaper ones there's like a half line or one and a half lines and all this weird shit that can happen, so they can be more difficult to read.

Anyone else notice that most of the excuses of why a prego test can be hard to read is that either it's a cheap test, or they didn't follow the instructions? I just wondered the same thing. Although on some kinds, the line that shows up may be kind of vague. Maybe the anxiety of the moment makes clear thinking difficult?
