I don't know who you are, 5:53, but I'm pretty sure I hate you. Not to defend Dave Matthew's Band or Nickleback, they do indeed suck, but sublime is good. They aren't one of the best bands of the last 20 years, but they are good.

how can you say Sublime is not a good band, all of you who are saying this have obviously never bothered to look past the only song of theirs you've heard, which though still good, is overplayed, What I Got. Listen to Everything Under the Sun, Sublime Anthology and i guarantee you will find a song that you not only enjoy, but songs that have true meaning and mass amounts of soul behind them.
i was kidding actually, i don't really like sublime that much. i don't listen to them enough and they're not really what i like. but they're good imo, some people just don't like it. i don't fault them.
5:59 likes a lot of poor music. But no, not every Sublime fan likes Nickelback...ugh I wouldn't be caught dead listening to them, and DMB sucks too, although not quite as bad. Some people in the band can jam, Dave's voice is just blaah most of the time...most Sublime fans I know like stuff more like Rage, RHCP, etc.

sublime is pretty good they're an occasional listen for me. as far as nickleback, to me all their songs sound the exact same and i can't stand it. but go and watch Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds live at Radio City music hall and tell me he sucks. one of the most amazing concerts ever. he opened with bartender and it was ridiculous. but dmb's new cd sucks he went mainstream on our asses and pulled out the electric guitar

Sublime is not a bad band. not the greatest, but far from the worst. Nickelback is the worst. Hinder and Hoobastank are right under them. Every time I hear Rock Star I wish I had a gun on hand to put an end to my misery. Kamelot, Iced Earth, Nightwish, Opeth, Sonata Arctica are indeed where it's at. Good to see people with taste here!

I listen to Nightwish AND Kamelot, AND Sublime. Nickelback is THE worst band that ever existed, and every time I hear Rock Star, I wish I had a gun on hand to end my misery. sublime self titled is my favorite album ever--"skacore" at it's finest. I have never met a person that is a Sublime fan and a fan of Nickleback which i thought was "trailer park rock"
