4:17, it's opiate not -oid.... and they had opiate addictions even more so back in the 17-1800's when opiates were the primary pain medications... and a lot of the addictive drugs today are also opiate based...
Hey 4:17, watch your facts, it's actually 4000 mg/day maximum dose of acetaminophen, and doses greater than 4000 mg/day kill your liver, not your kidneys. But, nice try.
To 7:50 (2): And if the ban that they're talking about goes through, then Vicodin, Lortab, Lorcet, Norco, etc will ALL be banned. Yes, it'll still be available mixed with ibuprofen (Vicoprofen), but that's a problem for people who can't take NSAIDs or are allergic to ibuprofen.
Vicodin (as are other hydrocodons) are actually mixed with Tylenol (acetaminophen)not ibuprofen. \n\n...that's why they suggest you take ibuprofen if you need to with the vicodin because it already has a lot of tylenol
I really love vicodin. I have two major car accidents worth of neck and back pain as well as a slow-healing painful sprained knee. Vicodin is often the only thing that helps the pain. I'm afraid if vicodin is banned I'll have to take stronger, more addictive drugs, if I can even convince a doctor to prescribe me anything. :(
mmmmmmmmmm hydrocodone
lol @ 7:50 "poser drug users"..how can you be a poser at taking drugs? you either take them or you don't. you can be v. dumb and know nothing about drugs, but i don't think that makes you a poser, just a dumbass
i was just as sad when i heard this horrible news seeing as vicodin is easily in the top 10 greatest inventions of ALL TIME. thank god they didnt ban pain killers all together. that would just be crossing the line right there
To the OP and you other idiots: Vicodin is the same as Lortab, which is hydrocodon. It will still be available, prob mixed with some other analgesic. Poser drug users... Funny stuff.
You are all idiots. They are just taking the acetaminophen out of the Vicodin, because people are too dumb to realize not to take Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Vicodin together!
I'm not a drug addict but the Tylenol Sever Sinus Pain and Congestion (with Acetametaphin in it) is the only thing that gets me through the work day in Spring.
