Some of you guys are asses...periods can be really unpredictable, and I doubt having a tampon would have helped, I'm sure if she realized she had started her period she wouldn't have just stayed there in bed.
Anyway, I find this very unfortunate...but also humorous.
Maybe she put her pants on because she was planning on leaving, and ended up falling asleep there or something?

I feel really bad for the OP. That totally sucks. Periods can be unpredictable even on birth control. And they suck but it's something EVERY WOMAN has to go through. Sorry OP that totally blows.

why wasn't she wearing a preventative pad or panty liner or goddamn something? i know periods are unpredictable but you should have a general idea of when your shit is supposed to start. if you're on birth control like all these bitches SHOULD BE with their random bar hookups and drunken sex, you know EXACTLY when you're going to start, so carry a goddamn tampon with you or just don't have sex that day you whore.
