As one who grew up near Madison and went to school at LSU (and lived on Chimes St. in fact) I can say that the Madison one is way cooler. I sure as hell know where I'd rather be in January, though.
they are talking about UW madison state street... believe me... i have been in this same position. same place too... walking out of lucky... oh dear god.
Oh, God, I had so many of those at UW-Madison. It bring back flashbacks of wishing the KFC/Taco Bell on State would be opened at 9 a.m. to drown out my shame a little!
ugh. State Street has never looked beautiful though I suppose early in the morning, free of the hipsters and white "rastas" and other UWM trash it would look better than usual.
with all the regional state streets being thrown around, i can't believe no one's mentioned the one state street that was immortalized by frank sinatra. 'state street, that great street.' madison's state street is probably more conducive to the walk of shame with a university right there, but i'm sticking with the mental image of taking the walk of shame down chicago's state street.
