  • 12:42PM, you're wrong. It's possible from a holding cell. Also, the OP didn't say that they were already in jail. It's possible that they're just planning for every eventuality.

  • yeah you can text from a holding cell but its once you get placed in the back that you get your phone taken away which doesn't matter i didn't have signal anyway..

  • yea some cops do let you have your phone for a while, ive had friends text me from the back of the cop car on the way to jail before, if it wasnt something serious they usually dont care
