    • Shouldn't the plural of a vocative third declension modify the suffix -is to -es rather than add the -es? So, penes?

  • Cecil Adams, author of The Straight Dope, has a great discussion of the "proper" Latin plural of the word "penis", it's the first result that comes up (heh) if you type "penis plural" into Google. Bottom line: it's "penises" if you're speaking English like most of us and not being a pretentious (pardon the pun) dickhead.
