All horses eat is grass & oats. So all there poop is made of is grass. Of course it doesn't smell that bad. If you've ever picked up a horse turd (and I have because when you are cleaning out their stables every day you sometimes have to) it breaks apart really easy and you can see that it's just all grass.
I live on a horse farm and worked at an equine hospital. HEALTHY horse shit smells good. If the horse is sick or on certain medications it can get nasty!
I'm going to say Cow poop. I used to work on a farm. Goat shit is the worst. =[
I loved smelling that hot cows shit when I went to work on a hot summer day. Disgusting, I know.

chicken is the WORST.. makes my eyes water.... i think cow shit permeates everything... and never leaves, so it is not a nice smelling one, shit is shit folks, and they use a layer of straw for mushrooms.... i grew up on a farrow to finish hog farm, so i think that it isn't bad.... and it doesn't get in the house and stay, like the smell of my childrens dairy barn barn clothes.....GAG.... that is my opinion.
Actually I'm pretty sure that Elephant shit is the best smelling. They only eat grass and they shit is only about 20% digested when the poop it out. So the majority of their turds are still grass on the inside and they are not that dirty. African natives throw them at each other much like children would do in a snowball fight.
two universal accepted smells: smell of gas & horse shit (evolutionary)
our ancestors must have loved to drive gas guzzlers but take horse rides on the weekends.
Yeah, I grew up around horses, and I've gotta say, it never really bothered me. Dog and cat shit are pretty intolerable. I assume it is from the meat in their respective diets, yes?
I would like to add, my shit smells the best. I sit there and whaft it while on the bowl. I can do that all day. When some gets on your fingertips you end up smelling them for hours.
