• I agree w/ 8889, that this was a case of sober regret for drunken mistakes. If gays had a monopoly on that, many of us would never have been born.

  • I dunno how it is everywhere else, but I was at a Pride festival yesterday and almost everyone was only half dressed, entirely drunk, and it was barely 50 degrees outside. I think the "P" does make a difference but I don't think he/she is slamming on gays, I think they're just saying that at Pride festivals, people do things they'll regret.

  • this is the originator of the text. i am a lesbian, and was remarking that for me and my friends at least, pride is more about drinking in the street than any actual accomplishment one should feel proud of.
