XX is actually TWO chromosomes, and to nattybuck, which assuming by your name this won't make sense, XXX is called Turner's Syndrome which stunts growth in women and make them sterile. Some badassery eh?
Maybe she meant only the second X since everyone already has one X. And we all know if she only said "on the X chromosome" in the text she'd get harassed for it too.

guff1991- Turner syndrome is caused by the lack of a chromosome, XO, being the result. This usually starts as an XY chromosome in which part or all of the Y is damaged, leaving an infertile female. There are a lot more complications that result from Turner syndrome, including short stature, hearing problems, etc. I know a girl with Turner syndrome, it's a very interesting thing to research.
Both men and women carry an X chromosome which mean a women ALWAYS passes it down and males have a 50/50 chance of passing a X or Y to the egg which is always an X. So it the egg could be missing that chromosome or the sperm is missing that chromosome. There are more issues with Turners than just want you stated and not any two women with Turners is affected the same. I was diagnosed at birth with this. Although I had ear issues as a little girl...I don't have hearing problems.

Women have 2 x chromosomes, but only one is active in any given somatic cell. I suggest you google "bar body". I beg to differ. I know this because this is a disease I've been living with all my life. I've been to the doctor's and it's not contagious; it's something you're just born with. There is no cure, but he says all I can do is just keep living my life as normal as possible, with an occasional outbreak every nowandthen.
The OP just hit the 'X' key too many times, and was implying that badassery, awesome, and godliness are acquired via the mother's DNA, like your mitochondria.
Whereas douchebaggery is transmitted via both X and Y chromosomes, and it's just a matter of whether or not either/both of your parents are carriers of or afflicted with the aforementioned trait. xD
Clearly retardation is carried on the X chromosome, because everyone with a Y chromosome knows that XX is TWO chromosomes, not one. If you wanted to make a chromosome joke about females being badass (which is in it of itself a joke) you would say that badassery is a recessive gene carried on the X chromosome, thus requiring two to have the aforementioned (impossible) badassery. It is clear, however, that badassery is a dominant gene carried on the Y chromosome.
